Two arms. One conviction.

ARM 1

We reshape ecosystems from the inside.

We work with corporations, governments, and multilateral organizations to go inside markets and value chains, find where small businesses are being left behind, and redesign the systems around them. Our work ranges from AI-powered business tools reaching millions of small businesses, to blue economy programs transforming coastal livelihoods, to green financing structures helping SMEs decarbonize across the region, to reorganizing entire supply chains across multiple countries so that the smallest suppliers can compete, formalize, and grow.

We've partnered with more than 150 corporations and every major multilateral in the region. And after four decades, we bring something most firms can't: the depth that comes from having been on the ground, week after week, in the markets where it matters.

We co-found the companies that don't exist yet.

Latin America's supply chains, labor markets, and everyday economies are full of gaps — places where small businesses, informal workers, and producers have no tools, no financing, and no pathway to grow. Fundamental was co-founded to build companies in those gaps.

We work across value chains, markets, and underserved segments. We design the venture, find the right entrepreneur, and co-found from day one — mobilizing catalytic capital and staying for five to ten years until the company can attract commercial investment on its own.
